Go Diego Go!!

While window shopping for some gadgets I noticed a show in the Glorietta Activity Center, Im amazed that Diego of Nickelodeon makes his first Live Show in Asia, the title was “Go Diego Go, The Iguana Sing Along”. It was last  November 9, 2008 Sunday, too bad my camera was not with me that time.. aw…

Go Diego Go, is an animated series for children and child at heart, who helps animals in danger, mainly in the rainforest. This was premiered on September 6, 2005 on Nickelodeon.*

Diego Marquez is Dora’s cousin (Dora the Explorer). I’ve seen Diego on some of the episodes of Dora the Explorer. If Dora have Boots as her sidekick, Diego have the Iguana. Both of them have a bag: Bagpack for Dora and Rescue Pack for Diego. Diego’s villain are the Bobo Brothers (spider monkeys) which can be stopped by shouting “Freeze Bobos” while Swiper the Fox can be stopped by “Swiper no Swipe in” on Dora the Explorer.

In the show of Diego in the said Activity Center, the story is about rescuing “Iggy” (the Iguana) to complete the song of the Iguanas before the winter came, so they can hibernate. By means of Click (a camera that sees animals for help) they saw Iggy in the cave. So they went there and rescued Iggy by following footsteps. In their way back home, Bobo Brothers try to stop them, but they shouted the “freeze bobos” and those monkeys apologize with them. There was also a Sand Storm, aghh.. but eventually they passed those tragedies. At last they came home, but due to long travel, iggy was starving, so he eats cactus’ flower before doing the Iguanas Song.

Yehey at last they do the Iguanas Song… childrens in the activity center are shouting yehey… go diego go… And that’s it. Here’s the intro song of that show.
