Battle Realms: A Strategy LAN Game

In this game you should wisely use your resources, because sometimes there’s a drought, and it’s hard to grew rice (if you’re a lotus clan, then you can create a rain by summoning a hero of the clan). You have to make stats of water and rice in full. So you can create building for trainings like archery, swordsman, geisha, and buildings to upgrade your units and their weapons.

My first PC was an 800MHZ duron, and there’s no available good game aside from Red Alert that I can install that would fit on the processor with a 128 RAM and a 64MB for video card (S3-savage).

So I tried to play it, with a helpful “Help Tips”, and other tutorial. The main goal of the Skirmish game is to defend your clan. In the game there are four clans, Lotus (they have the ability to make rains and summons thunders), Wolf (they tamed horses and makes them as part of them in making combat; have the ability to cure themselves) Serpent (the traitor clan, their Geisha is more powerful than the dragon clan, good in destroying building) and the Dragon (they can summon dragon to destroy enemies units and buildings).

In the Game you can choose whether Skirmish or you want to play as Kenji in his Journey. Yeah I played both hehehhe. In the Journey mode, you will choose if you are with the Dragons or Serpent, the main objective of each clan is to get the Orb, a powerful magical ball that can throw away the Lotus which are making the whole clan other than themselves as slave. Of course I make the objective done, heheheh, with some addictive mode, and sometimes dreaming of the game itself, ehhehe.

In the Skirmish Mode, your main objective is to use all the resources and kill and destroys all units and buildings of your enemies, you can use map, and what kind of clan you are going to use, and how many clans to beat. I used Serpent and Lotus most of the time. The Fan Geisha is a great healer to the clan, she automatically cure all units at its best. And serpent is good in destroying through fire equipments their enemies building (hehehehhe). You can also used this game as multiplayer, especially on a computer shop, where there is Battle Realms installed (they’re not sikat na right now e). The last 2 times I played this game is last 2006 (with Arnel, Vien, Jun, Jovy and Rhona), and last April 2007 (with my inaanak, Mac Mac).
